A sitooterie is a northern word meaning a place to go and sit outside, and this is a linocut print of my parents’ one. Made during the Coronavirus lockdown of spring 2020, I came to sit and find peace in their sitooterie once restrictions had lifted enough to allow me to do so. I loved watching their spring flower garden beginning to grow, and it gave me a glimpse of positivity in an otherwise bleak time
