It began on a wintry day in a park. Pushing my children on the swings and trying to keep warm, I looked up and watched a large white dog walking up the steep bank of Sele Hill. The hill is very steep so figures are foreshortened and often look much larger than they actually are. It’s a popular place for dog walkers, and the site of an excellent fireworks display at Bonfire Night.
White Dog, Sele Hill was pulled in two different colourways to reflect the changing seasons on the hill, whilst honouring the daily tradition of the same people using the hill in the same way around the year.
