Woodlarking
A memory of an afternoon spent in the woods in the company of other women.
Woodlarking arrived almost fully formed, as I battled howling winds and sideways rain during the school run. I remember brushing my sodden hair out of my eyes and thinking about how only the day before I had been sat in the tranquility of the woods, beside a fire, watching the cast iron kettle boil on gentle flames.
