Luminescence began life as a commission for a piece of art for the cover of a PhD thesis. For me it was certainly a step into the unknown: I have learned so much about organometallic chemistry and had some really interesting and inspiring chats with an enthusiastic PhD student. Luminescence is a nod to the process of exciting electrons to make them emit light. The process is purely logical but the outcome is somewhat magical. A bit like making a linocut.

Luminescence will be posted flat in a reinforced envelope, and is sold unmounted and unframed.
